Will the built in controller be an optional feature? Or is it a master slave type deal so people with profilux controllers can just buy slaves? And when you say modular does that mean multiple separate fixtures required for larger tanks, same as radion & AI or will the fixtures come in various lengths but still be expandable?

if you have aprofilux you only require the slave unit.

Yes same as other brands - modular - expandable with extra fixtures.
