3 years?
WOW!!! What is the secret for keeping one for so long?. I havent bought one in years because it would always die after a couple months. |
Hey Snoop,
Well I have no secret other than I feed the reef a few varieties of food and that all my worms are burried deep within my 2" sugar size sandbed. I also have a smaller purple one that is over 5 years old. |
FANS-Yaaaaah GO Team
Great Fan!
Excuse the roookie question, but do the larger colorful fans multipy and spread in the tank like the small ones from live rock? Also have you ever moved them? ie scrape them off tank wall and bury? in the sand?(how deep?) When you say your fan has had several tubes; what happened to the old ones? do they outgrow then build a new one? I have 2 Hawaiian fans (brown) in my 15gal and would like to relocate them to the bigger tank, but both are stuck to rocks and shells. Do you think I could carefully free the tubes? What happens if the tube breaks or crumbles....does he die or just rebuilds? |
