I've had one for over two years now. They do graze (buff) the coraline somewhat, especially in an algae free environment. Having a big tank, (or several tanks) as I do, is probably best to keep the damage minimal. Mine will eat nori from a clip as well.

I really enjoy Lurch...he wears all kinds of funny things, sometimes a small snail or reef hermit is stuck on there kicking in the air, or he'll find a stray suction cup in behind the rock somewhere.

Haa haa they do sound like great little cretures. from what i have read they are farely easy to keep as long as you meet there demands (but that is the same with all things in this hobby)

If you have a picture of him could you post it?
