I got into forex about 10 years ago. The risk is high but the reward is not quite worth it. What's your trading experience?

If you are interested, try paper trading first. Otherwise, you'll be throwing your money away. Start with some stock trading, they are much easier than forex.

If you want to lose your shirt, go ahead. Much easier ways to make money trading.

Never ventured into the Forex, don't have the stomach for it, have done reasonably well on stocks. My advice, only invest/trade in shares in a field you are actually interested in. If you're a tech guy, you will do better investing in tech stocks and the research and DD won't feel like a chore. Similarly if you like geology look into mining stocks as there's a lot of geological reports that you'll want/need to keep current with.

Be prepared to spend hours upon hours going over information and learning everything you can about the investment. If you're not willing to spend the time in research, don't risk your money.

Trying to make money in a field you don't enjoy/understand is a sure way to lose your shirt through emotionally charged bad decisions.
