Waterproofing vortech dryside?

Can anyone think of a good way to waterproof the dry side on a vortech powerhead? I want to run the dryside inside an overflow. Was thinking maybe putting it inside a balloon and silicone the opening where the cord comes out. What do you other reefers think??

looks like a good way of doing this.

I have an external overflow and its right where I want to put a mp40. looks like I'll make a small box inside the overflow and run it inside that box.

thanks for the link for the idea azulikit.
