Showing up alittle late.....
 

I went on the weekend to meet members at Jl, was suppose to be there at 230pm but got stuck Dt and was abit late, I arrived at Jl just after 3pm. Tried to call the member to tell him i was running abit late but the number he called me on didn't go through. I should've called the store but was so rushed I couldn't think of it at that time. I feel extremely bad as I know what it feels like to be stood up but honestly I couldn't get ahold of him. Was wishing he called me so I could atleast tell him I was running late. The other members waited for me and it wasn't a big deal. Again I feel pretty bad about this because people who know me know I am usually pretty punctual and honest.

Hope the member that got stood up can forgive me for wasting his time and gas, but if not.... Not too much I can do??

The only reason for me starting this post was because I was told by another member that a recent thread had been locked and was kinda funny about a no show, soon as he mentioned that I knew it was me.....

Again I feel bad for being not able to contact you Shane, please contact me through pm if you feel calm and we can work something out for your time wasted.

you didn't have to start a thread but we all know and accept that things come up and accidents happen! Hope he will forgive you!

I had the same thing happen to me, made arrangements to pick up a fish from a member here for a sat afternoon. I had a an appointment and said I would call once I was done. This person lived out of the city and I called before leaving, no answer. Kept calling a few more times that day no answer. Sent a pm, no response. Neeless to say I was a bit upset. When I finally did hear back the person had some personal matter come come up, and felt bad about not responding. I figured there had to be a reason and we made alternate arrangements. All was good in the end. Life happens and things can be un avoidable. Hope everything works out for you!
