Blue tip Red Gonioporah did any of it survived?

Some time ago i had a large one for sale on here, it gave me three small offshoots, i kept one for myself and two were sold, as well as large mother colony that i sold to someone in DownTown.
i was wondering did any of it survived?
The tiny frag that i kept is now about 2.5-3" in diameter and incrusting the rock i put it in to.
Here is an old pic of the mother colony did it also survived i wonder?

Why do you ask?

Was just wondering if people who got it had good results with it.
Sold two small ball shaped naturally grown offshoots and one large mother colony to people on here.

I had one small ball size (less then an inch) left for my self and it is now about tripled its size.
Nice coral, easy to keep, medium /slow grow, not bothering any other corals, good color, med/low light.

Do you have one too?

I don't but I want one ;)

I do not target feed anything in my tank. but use variety of foods including sps fine powdered foods occasionally

Polyp extension is very good about 3 inch or more
Check your water basics parameters, Ph alkalinity and Kh are critical.
But don't panic when you see your test results... double check with at least two different tests.

use these three additives as recommended or less and you will be OK
SeaChem Reef Advantage Magnesium
.
SeaChem Reef Builder Additive
.
SeaChem Reef Buffer Additive

no calcium?

RuGlu6 08-21-2013 03:35 PM

Assuming this is a "reef" there obviously will be some sort of Calcium supplementation, I do have a Calc reactor though.
My Calc is at 420ppm
