My New Accusition:)
Well lookie what I got. Anyone recognize it?
http://www.canreef.com/photopost/dat...0243-1-med.JPG http://www.canreef.com/photopost/dat...0244-1-med.JPG It's so big that it wouldn't fit into a salt bucket. I had to use a 15ish gallon rubbermaid container. |
WOW! I didn't think Tony would ever part with that! Looks great!
Christy :) |
I begged and begged.
Thanks |
Oh, why did he sell it?
Glad i got my frag  Still looks real nice |
Nice. It looks like it's been flattened out?
|
Nice score, Jonny! It does look shorter tho - is it tilted forward a bit?
 |
Never saw it from that angle ... always saw it from the side view in Tony's tank ... guess it just got too big ... Good score Jonathon
Cheers |
(I think I still have about 2 lbs of it left behind in my tank.)
I think it looks soooo great in Canadian_Man's tank. Quinn the top has always been nice and flat like that; flow conditions probably are/were a factor. Steve it looks a little smaller for I guess a couple different reasons ... 1) Jonny's tank is a wee bit bigger than mine; 2) some of it got peeled away to make a better fit and 3) it is partially buried to give it some stability. I am sure glad nobody was around to snap pictures of us with our butts hanging out of the tank as we maneuvred it into position. |
Tony Basically answered all the questions.
Last time I saw this thing was a few months ago. So I was shocked when I saw it in person  HUGE! It's burried in the sand like Tony mentioned. Also my tank is 30" tall where as the 75G it was in was 18" or 20" tall. It now has about 1.5 feet of upward growing room before I have to give it to the next larger tank owner. |
I'll start building that new tank today.
Wow, looks marvelous. Doug |
