I know this is a long shot now. Looking for enough sand for a 50g tank

Oh, same here, looking for sand for a 20 long, for my nano reef, and sand for a 187 gallon DT.

I don't understand why you guys like live used sand. Besides the fact is has some bacteria in it, that may go ballistic on you, why do you do it?
Please explain ...
I'm trying to understand why you want to put sand in your tank that is going to spike and cause algae, ammonia and so on.
Do you feel it speeds up the cycle or something?

naw i clean it first! just usually a heck of a lot cheaper then spending $30 a bag whe you need 3-8 bags!!!
