How to build a 20 gallon stand ?

OK, it maybe a weird question but I need your help  because I am a woman and this is my first build.
I want to build a stand for my 20 gallon refugium. I have got an idea how to make a simple stand from google it ... But one more thing I need to make sure that the new stand is not going to collapse in a few months later. Here are the questions, did you use glue to glue them together ? Did you nail or screw them together ?
Thanks for your help.

The screw and glue method is your safest bet. It's 100% overkill for a stand, but that's always good :P. Your house isn't even glued, and only uses nails. For a 20 gallon using 2x4's is pretty overkill, but if you don't need much room under it then it's probably the cheapest and easiest to do. If you're using one of the many guide online pre-drill your holes if they are close to the ends of the wood, then the wood will not split.

Easiest method is this:

basically build 2 rectangles the size of your tank and a few 2x4's to hold it up.

Thank you very much for your info, I will use glue and pre-drill the holes before I screw them together.
