I LOVE my RSM. I replaced my skimmer with a little bubble Magnus which fits right in, but you leave the little access lid thing open, or i guess you could cut a hole into it. I always leave mine open anyway as these seem to run a little warm. In the summer time I set a little computer fan on a timer in there to dissipate heat. Very happy with the tank. Oh I don't run the pads and additive stuff in the compartments, I made a basket out of egg crate and filled it with live rock.
