1 Attachment(s)
First hello i am new here
Second I have a 29 Gallon Biocube and pretty much new to this as i have had my tank a year now. Anyways my pump was blowing air bubbles out of it over night (maybe 10 hours) while I was away for the night cause my filter got clogged and 3 of my snails have now flipped over upside down. They are still moving some and I flipped them over again , but they not really moving.Maybe Dying, don't like alot of oxygen? Only things that seem like they got affected. So one of them was wedged between some LR and I had to move the rock. When i moved it i found this, which i have no idea what it is. Good ,Bad ,Name?Any information would be great. Picture provided below Thank you in advancehttp://www.clan-nn.com/unknown.jpg |

aptasia
whatever method you use-do it in the morning or the daughter cells could spread

there is 1 big one and like 3 tiny ones around it. I was going to takeout the rock and smash it in 1/2 keep the polys and throw out the half with the bad stuff on it.

aptasia
inject the big one with lemon juice, mix up some kaulkwasser paste and cover the small ones, and might as well do the large one.make sure your powerheads are off for 1/2 hour
|
it was a small rock , maybe 5 inches long and couple inches thick. I smashed it in 1/2 with a hammer and there is nothing left of those things on the remaining piece which is now a couple inches. If I see anything come back I will throw out entire rock. It
Anyways anyone know if my snails are toast? The pump was shooting air bubbles into tank for about 10 hours and 3 out of about 9 snails fell upside down. I flippedthem back over, 1 is moving , another is moving only its antenia and another just goes in shell if i touch and does not move. Should I throw them out as well? |
Give them time. I have a snail who spent three days on its back. Now it motors around everywhere. They are weird.
