possible seaweed food?

Just bought some cheap seaweed today knowing it would be a hit or miss on feeding it to my tangs.

The brand is Roasted, Seasoned Seaweed from Being Blue. I opened up a package and honestly it doesnt seem like it would be a good idea as food for my tangs. It tastes a bit salty and even rubs some off.

It is seasoned I wouldn't use it. If you want cheap nori go to a grocery store and buy unseasoned nori sushi wrap.

I haven't really compared prices but for what it worth I use two little fishes purple, green algae. 6 dollars a bag from JL aquatics is not unreasonable. just my 2 pennies.

A bag of 50 large sheets of nori is only 8 dollars at TNT superstores which is like 100 sheets of LFS seaweed and it is the exact same. I know for a fact that some LFS actually buy it and repack it for individual sale. Bag of 10 sheets was only 2.89.

Oh man that's a huge difference. I will investigate and see if there is purple seaweed that my tangs love at TNT. I always thought it was only like a dollar or two difference. I best be getting on the savings!

Thanks Tim
