Wrasse ID picture source?
I'm looking for a good site that has comparison pics of juvenile and adult forms of wrasse. The google image search failed to come up with anything close to a recent addition, but I'm pretty sure it's a juvenile form.
Thanks |
I use liveaquaria.com. It has a few in there fish section. Other then that I will search for the color of the wrasse sometimes it can be found that way.

Post a pic. People here can probably help you ID it. What did the LFS call it?
On the other hand, buying Wrasses in particular without knowing the ID could be treacherous. Many get over a foot long and will wreck havoc in a reef tank (if yours is a reef), even some of the smaller ones can be quite damaging to a reef. Some are quite aggressive to other fish as well. |
I use aqua con. They have a wide selection on fish ID

If it gets over a foot long I will eat it

Lots of sites I've looked at have pics of adults because they are selling them, but very few have side by side pics of juv. and the adult it will turn into.
That's more what I am looking for, for this fish and for future reference |
