Dead coral or ?
 

How long would you give a coral before you figure it's a right off , My leather spent 1 week in a cooler with about 15 lbs of LR and a fish, I turned a CF light on everyday or the cooler and maintained the water . I just transferred the cooler water and 4g new salt water into a Biocube 14. The polyps bounced right back and the fish seams O.K. but the previously happy leather is weathered and cracked and I am wondering how many day's I should give him before I right him off ?

probably just sheading, they ususally take water changes harsh and well shead for a week then come back.

Thanks I'll give him a week or two. My wife likes him and was mad when I took him out of the 26G Bowfront and stuck him in the cooler. lol.

I have to ask as I'm new and all... what do you mean cooler?

A 10 gallon insulated Coleman camping cooler ! I had a power head and a heater in it ! I use it when I do water changes or pick up new fish ect.
