Aqua C Remora EV-180 Skimmer problems HELP!
 

Hey guys i have a EV-180 skimmer set up right now on my fresh 35 gallon.... It doesnt seem to want to work. I have it set up in my sump raised a good amount out of the water, the gate valve itself is still submerged by half and the water level is a good 1.5" under the top of the black box, I turn it on and I get bubbles happening but nothing breaking the top and producing skimmate. Someone please help me out if you have knowledge of this product thank you.

Are you getting the fine bubbles you see on youtube. If you're running in freshwater it won't work, you need saltwater. Also an EV-180 for 35 gallon is more than overkill, so I'm assuming you're just testing in the 35.
