styrofoam under 7g frameless nano?

So i got a 7 gallon tall frameless tank for my desk, but im wondering considering its so small, should i waste the time with styrofoam, i dont really want to go buy a big 8'x4' sheet of it if i need 14"x8.5" of it.
im sure id be okay without it, desk is pretty flat, but whats your opinion?

You can buy smaller sheets.

I don't think you'll need it but you can also use some sort of foam padding. That's what my Fluval Flora sits on.

With a tank that size I personally wouldn't worry about it, but if you want, go to a craft store like Michael's. They sell 12"x18" sheets of 2mm black foam. I think you can get a 12 pack for $5 or $10.

I got some left over high density foam for FREE if you want. I used it for my tank.

Actually, I think that is what my Fluval Flora is sitting on.
