Has anyone ever used one for aptasia control. And are they reef safe

You'll need a silver one and they'll be hit or miss like most things. No idea about corals but not safe with small fish and shrimp. If not already from SW you'll have acclimatize them pretty slow. Personally I'd try other options first.
