Is it dead?
I got this orange duster guy and I don't think it's doing to well. I think the current might have been to strong but I noticed it lost it's slime coat and it's floating. I don't know if I should move it and burry it in the sand or flush it cause it's dead.
Here's a picture of it: http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...s/8898e997.jpg |
was it in a tube?
sometimes they will leave the tube if stressed, might not be dead. |
Um...yeah a slime tube I guess
|
Should I move it and bury it again?
|
I would, I don't think it's dead
|
I would leave it. As long as nothing is picking on the worm it will be okay and build a new tube.
|
I wouldn't bury it, the tube is used to protect it from the substrate so burying it will damage the flesh. Get it in a low flow/low light area of the tank so it can start a new tube.
Just curious, what kind of substrate is that in the pic? |
It's Tahitian moon sand, I'm going to move him to the big tank, less flow and lower lights.
Thanks |
