Need some help with noisy skimmer !
 

I have a Hydor slim skim nano, every once in a while it starts to vibrate a lot it drives me nuts, I have tried to adjust it numerous times, placing at different area's cleaning it not cleaning it etc. I purchased a Remora C HOB protein skimmer to replace this one but the u shaped tube that goes from the water pump into the skimmer interfere's with my aquatic life light - I either need to figure out a way to raise my light so it does not interfere with the skimmer, either by suspending it or increasing the length of the legs on my light - or i need to fix my Hydor so that it doesn't drive me freakin nut's !

Help please !
