last fish for my 26g ?

Current stock: 2 percula clowns, 1 wheeler's prawn goby . custodians 4 or so red scarlet hermits , a dozen or so left clawed hermits, a dozen or so various snails, 1 cleaner shrimp. corals : 1 6"+ leather toadstool .

I was hoping to add a group of blue green chromis . But fear that would be too much stock ? 5 or 6 ?

You may be sorry if you do add them. In my opinion it would be way over stocked, they are aggressive and can get big. Lots of other neat fish you could add. Maybe some cardinals, a smaller blenny, some nice gobies out there. Just to name a few for you.

That's what I thought, I will save them for my next tank, I do like blennie's so I will look into them some more .

+1 on the blenny. Or you could add one chromis, adding more then one would be a waste of money because even in large systems they eventually kill each other off until there is only one left.

If you are looking for a midwater, non-orange/red fish maybe something like a Bangaii cardinal would be nice. In my BC 29, I've got a pair of bangaii, an ocellaris clown, a yellow wrasse and a red scooter dragonet.

I ended up adding 1 bi colored blennie and 1 very tiny blue green chromis - the blue green has injected himself into the poor clowns , he follows them every where. it's actually pretty funny !

I would still like to add some sort of mid level swimmer, any idea's ?

I looked at these at JL but I don't think they are very hardy, the display tank they were in had several on the bottom of the tank.

I think a few masked gobies would have probably been a neat choice.

I have accidently tried to kill my Bengii a couple of times, very hardy fish in my opinion.
+1 on the bicolor Blennie, awesome personalities.
