six line wrasse vs "gorilla" cab
 

Only got two gorilla crabs left! :smile: They are very sneaky and well not fall for my traps, but thats not the point at hand.

My wrasse has his territory. On the far right base rock of my tank.
So i just caught the beginning of this awesome battle.

The wrasse is prolly about 4 inches. The crab just under. I never thought the wrasse was going to win. I had my claw ready just to be safe.
The crab didn't has a chance. The wrasse just went at his joints. I knew six line wrasse can get aggressive but wow!

Just thought i would share.

Same thing with my checkerboard wrasse...ended up they are not reef safe. Mine killed most of my blue legged and did not eve ate them. He was shaking it until the shel fell of and then would knock the crab on the rock to kill it and leave it there. Not fun! I sold it.

A 4" wrasse took on an almost 4" crab? Holy crap! I can't believe the wrasse was successful! That's AWESOME.

A sixline? Serious?

I would never believe it without a video.

Mine would never try ANTHING like that.
