Hi Ken, how much are they?

howdy20012002 12-08-2011 10:27 PM

not trying to sound negative.
just thought I would give you a heads up
not sure what size of tank you have, but Benggais can be aggressive towards each other.
not saying that it happens all the time, but I have had it where a pair has 90 percent of the tank and the remaining ones have to live in the corner, being bullied by the female of the pair.
Not saying don't do it, because I know lots of people that do.
however, it may not be a great situation, especially if they start breeding.
just my two cents.
Neal
btw, I have over 30 of them, so I do have a bit of experience with them..lol
I would also try to get them from someplace that has had them for a while.
cardinals are notorious for dying for no apparent reason.

30. Nice! In a breeding system? Or all together? PICS?

I love Benggais.

Ya, ive been doing a fair bit of research and that seems to be a risk for sure. I really appreciate the advice. I have a 75g reef tank where they will be the only fish.
