Damsel ate my Peppermint shrimp.
 

Feb 9th, I got a peppermint shrimp. Not a big guy, maybe about 1/4 the size of my damsel.

For 2 days I saw the shrimp, he just hung below the rocks, never came out (at least not in the daytime). After those 2 days, I haven't seen him.

For the last few days, the damsel was acting weird, and was hangin under the rocks where the shrimp was. Rarely came out, only for food.

If you're read my other threads, I believed my damsel has ich, so yesterday I setup a 10g QT tank with heater/airstone.

I had to take out pretty much all my LR to get the damsel.

No sign of the shrimp. I've looked pretty much everywhere, and he is nowhere to be found.

My only conclusion is that the damsel ate him. :mad:

To top that off, one of my snails seemed to have died of nature causes, and another snail (one of the bigger ones) was ripped from his home by one of my new halloween hermit crabs, to take his shell.

In all, the damsel isin't going back. I'm leaving my tank fishless for a month.

If anyone wants this damsel after he's been in QT for a month, he's yours. Bastard guy.
