Blue Bristle Worm
 

Check out this nasty thing I found eating coral recently. I don't often see blue bristle worms & yes that red part is it's mouth.:surprise:
It was tough to get a clear picture, darn thing kept moving.

It's actually quite pretty I think, but coral eater...argh! Need a Wrasse! My Melanurus nails any worms he's finds.

This isn't fair Greg. Not only do your corals looks awesome, your pest look awesome. What'd the secret?

Eeeesh! Talk about your dilemma, both cool and ugly at the same time!

Not sure a regular size wrasse would tackle this thing, it was about 4 inches long and could stretch to about 7-8".

I know I have several in my soft coral tank and they don't bother anything in there. I pulled this bad boy out of my frag tank. Must have been in some rock I added to the frag tank that I pulled from my sump a while ago.
