Seachem Prime - bad ordour
 

just curious on what smell do you guys get from your bottle of Prime.

My last bottle of prime smelled like the something has died in it so I poured it out and bought a new bottle and it still smelled exactly the same. Also I noticed some black dust in the bottle as well.

so, I am wondering if it's still good or I should exchange for another one.

Prime has a strong sulphur smell, is that what you are smelling ?

Prime always stinks and has little black specks in it. The bottle says to shake well before using.

Prime... deadly and effective! Lol.

All bottles are like that :)

I can confirm this as well. When I put it in a bucket of RO after washing my filter socks in bleach, I stinks up the room with that Prime smell.

My wife complains everytime I use it!

Seachems AquaVitro line has much less scent.

my first bottle of Prime smelled like sulphur. but, the other 2 bottle aren't. almost like someone left a dead fish in it.

it also says right on the bottle that its supposed to smell:wink:
