Emerald Crab

I am impressed. This new little guy clean 99% of the bubble algae that I can see on the first night. Best $13 I even spent.

All of mine have been great at keeping all sorts of algae away too.

I had one that got to a 2" diameter!! He cleaned up every surface of my rocks like crazy.

crabs

who in town has them?

Myka 10-28-2011 01:33 AM

Count yourself lucky, they don't all eat bubble algae. I have found only about half of them do. They get big pretty fast though, and start threatening small fish (they can catch/kill them).

+1 on that mine is in the sump and is eating ditris quite well. I do through in a pellet from time to time. I like him but why would he go straight to my acro I put him as far away as I can and he is there in notime..

If you have a 50/50 chance of something then odds are 90% in favour of picking the wrong one. I've never had any luck with emeralds pick at valonia. That darn 50/50/90 gets me everytime. :p

tie a long line of fishing line to them before you add to tank for easy removal
