Anthelia over running tank!!!
It is starting to choke off my zoanthus. What would be the best way to controll and get rid of some? Should I just take a razor and cut them off? I guess that would be like fraging wouldn't it? Never done that. I would think I need to remove the rock and put it into a container to control the toxins. Anyone have suggestions, Wendell?

To remove it, try to peel it from the rock. If you leave any tissue behind, it will grow back. No toxins involved to worry about!

Thanks for the reply Brad. I tried that and the smell on my hands was awfull. I just asumed it was toxins.

No, they just really stink. I have some and its darned hard to get rid of that smell after pruning it.

Send some my way.

If I knew how to ship it you could have a rock full of it.

Are you talking about Rock anemone?
If so try using a seringe to inject them with straite viniger. DO NOT do to many in 1 day,the viniger will affect your P.H |
No it is a type of Xenia. I was able to pull the zoo out off of the rock. It opened up right away and is once again happy. Don't understand why it hasn't attached to a rock yet????
