thats a sick tank!!! what size is it?

jtbadco 09-28-2011 02:38 AM

Thanx!!!

It is a 33 Gal long tank (48x12x12)

The Codfather 09-28-2011 02:43 AM

Wow, I assumed it was quite a bit larger than 33. Looks good.

jtbadco 09-28-2011 02:46 AM

Thanx,...It's a deceptive little tank. I love the dimensions...it's all viewing space. Only drawback is you can't keep larger fish. That's for my next tank. I'm still pretty new to this.

Beanz 09-28-2011 02:52 AM

Ya that definitely looks much larger than 33g. What equipment r you running on that beauty?

jtbadco 09-28-2011 03:00 AM

You'll probably laugh at me.

I am running a Fluval 404 and two Aquaclear 70's plus a Koralia Nano 425 for extra flow and a Tunze Nano DOC skimmer.

65-70 lbs of LR,...1/2 to 1" sand bed

Various soft corals and LPS, a few SPS, Open Brain coral

Pair of False Perc's
Blue Damsel
3 Green Chromis
Firefish
Purple Firefish
Engineer Goby
Orange Spotted Sleeper Goby
6 Line Wrasse
Pair of black Mollies
Linkia starfish
2 Cleaner shrimp
1 Peppermint shrimp
various snails and hermits

Tank has been up and running for only 6 mnths total.

All parameters stable, all fish and corals healthy and growing well.

Beanz 09-28-2011 03:58 AM

Its a pretty wicked tank mang, keep it up.

jtbadco 09-28-2011 03:24 PM

Thanx,...I love it too.

I can't wait until I can start my 70 Gal reef.
