Camping in Central Alberta
 

Can't figure out where to find more Albertans than on here so here goes?

We are going to rent a small RV, not going far Red Deer through Leduc area roughly.

Never camped there and we are taking the mutts so we need a place with a boat ramp or somewhere dog friendly for swimming.

This will be mid-Sept. Was kind of looking at Prov Parks since you can reserve and we want a spot that looks not to be in a crowded area.
Looking at Crimson Lake.

Hard to pick something when you've never been there.

Any suggestions or ideas appreciated.

P.S. I don't think we need hookups or anything unless it is a nice private spot.

There are a couple nice campgrounds on all sides of Gull Lake, 4 that I can think of. I think most of them are dog friendly but with a tight leash law.
