Hello
Hey guys, Martin here from Modular LED. Let me know if you have any questions about getting up and running with a DIY LED light fixture. We are based out of Red Deer, AB so if you are in the local area you can pickup stock and save on shipping or come check out some LED :)

Interested in LEDs. Have a 145g room divider and due overflows would be lighting and area of about 20"x60" (replacing my current 2x250w MH / 2x54W T5 actinics).
What would you recommend for lighting a mixed reef with allowing to a move to a hardcore SPS tank? |
Welcome officially now I guess.
Like I said before nice work on the site and the videos. You've laid things out in an easy-to-digest manner and made the stuff accessible to those of us who don't want to solder. |
You are going to want about 24 LEDs (12 Modular boards) per 18 inches of tank (length wise) so I would say about 80 LEDs for that.
Your tank is quite similar to mine width wise, that's the ratio I used and boy those corals are really growing fast under new LED lights. Martin |
