Bulb placement suggestions.

I have a 24" Aquactnics that I'll be using on a 34 gallon Solana. This fixture holds 5 bulbs but I purchased 7 bulbs to have more options to play around and see what combo works best. The big question is in what order should I place these bulbs.

When suggestion a bulb combo keep in mind that the fixture has 2 switches.
Switch #1 controls bulbs 1, 3, and 5.
Switch #2 controls bulbs 2 and 4.

Here are the bulbs that I bought..........

3 ATI Blue Plus
1 ATI Purple Plus
2 ATI AquaBlue
1 GE 6500K

Ive always wanted to run a 6000-6500k bulb in my fixture, I would give that a shot

my 2 set ups with those bulbs... run the fiji, mid-day, aquablue, that 2 blue+

or everything but the midday

I wouldn't bother with the 6500K personally, they can work in 8+ bulb fixtures but anything less they become too noticeable.

1. ATI Blue Plus
2. ATI AquaBlue
3. ATI Fiji Purple
4. ATI AquaBlue / 6500K if you wish.
5. ATI Blue Plus

Do you think 3 Blue Plus would be too much?

In combination with the fiji, yes.
