I saw a couple threads started up, so I thought I would start one up to share some of the photography I take. Nothing fishy so far, tho that's going to be a learning curve as I know nothing about proper picture taking with aquariums :mrgreen:

Nicely taken photos, all the basics are good. The advice I would offer would be to try stepping outside of your comfort zone and try some new angles and different composition. Getting low enough to shoot upwards for example may give you a better effect on the some of those action shots.

Appreciate it! I have a lot more shots both equestrian ones as well as kids portraits. Maybe it will give you a good view of some of the other work. Definitely up for more advice and information-all about improving, and ALWAYS open to more input. Thanks a bunch :biggrin:

What camera do you shoot with?

A little one, Canon Rebel EOS T1i

I used to have one of those. They give you tons of room to play with.

I dig the pics! They look good. I especially like that last one. If I were to make a suggestion (though definitely not a professional opinion) trying playing with the depth of field a bit and the shutter speed. The DOF will (when you want it too) make your subject "jump" out of the picture a bit more and stand out from the fairly busy, flat back ground. The first and last pics would really pop if you play with the DDOF. Shutter speed can be used to give some motion to your subjects, which would be fun. Horses are, for the most part, dynamic creatures; show it!
