Need Some help Please

I'm fairly new to Saltwater and have a 28 Gal Nano cube that I am running.
I purchased a used tank 90 Gal and with a stand, sump, pump all piping from a canreef user in Edmonton.
I'm just getting it setup now..
I'm not quite sure if I am doing the sump correctly and just wondered if there was someone in my area (Okotoks) that could drop by and tell me I am doing ok?
Don't really want to start adding water till I know I have this right?
any help?
thanks all
Steve'o

Here are some ideas and suggestions
- test the system with water someplace safe like a garage or unfinished basement
- verify no floods occur when the power fails or when a pipe is obstructed
- post pics and details on the type of overflow for more help with avoiding floods
- ensure the stand is both flat and level
- have drip loops and install GFCI outlets

Good luck with the tank.

Moving to the main reef forum for you. Should get more replies there.
