Anybody able to drill a tank?
I just have a 170 freshwater I want to install a drip system on. Just need a bulkhead between half and inch and an inch drilled on the side of my tank. Anybody have the technology to do this? I will pay obviously.

.5 to 1.0 inch is pretty small. Is that the size of the bulkhead or the desired hole size?My smallest bit will yield a whole just under 1.250" We are talking about a glass tank right?

Still looking. To clarify I need this tank drilled on the side!

I could maybe do you a 5/8" which is good for installing float valves. Or lend you the bit and you can do it yourself (it's not hard, we can go over the how-to's if you wanted to borrow it). LMK :)

For schedule 40 this is what I think I know: For a 1" bulkhead the hole required is 1-3/4". 1.5" needs 2 - 3/8" 2" needs 3" 3/4" needs 1 - 1/2" hth |
