Installing a sump

I was wondering what the best way to go about taking apart a reef and installing a sump/fuge is(If there is any good way  )? I have a 110 and have decided to put in the sump/fuge. Im looking at 2000 gph for the pump and its a somewhat closed loop. Would be able to put everything in a kids pool? Or is there a better way? Im really anxious about putting the sump in but im iffy about taking apart the reef

Why don't you put in an external overflow like a CPR? then you don't have to take the tank apart.

you mean like this

if you have the space and time then a tear apart and getting the tank drilled is the best option available.
