Vertex Illumina question

The more I read about these LEDs, the more I'm warming to the idea.

I practically salivate at the programmability of the Vertex Illumina, but I nearly choke at the price tag.

For a 34" wide and 30" deep aquarium, would one fixture be enough? or would you need two fixtures side by side to give you the right amount of coverage?

hmmm, and also, I'm trying to sort out the differences in their models. I've figured out the difference between the 260 and 200, but what's the difference between the SR 1200, SR 1800, etc.?

search for TheDogFather, his is over his 30" wide tank and the coverage seems fine to me.

I also have a 24" Illumina 200 and im planning on hanging it on a 30" wide as well.

Also dont forget Vertex just released the illumilux lights which you could add as a supplement, if you wanted to add some more coverage.

Also check this thread, on page 2 there are some links to some pics of a illumina 260, with 2 Illumiluxes as supplemental lighting.
