Why didn't you guys come up with this four months ago!!

Sweet idea!

I usually would glue it to my aquascape, so having larger frag plugs may not work. And I don't think the selling feature of live rock would be of any value.

However for mounting LPS, zoas and things that you may leave unmounted or free standing, then this would be a GREAT Idea.

great feedback guys....

Rick....I didnt take out any of the really small diameter pieces when I took the pictures, but there is some there about the size or a nickel or quarter.....

I think this is a great idea. Personally I really dislike frag plugs... 90% of the frags i've made and sold have been on rubble. I find it alot easier to place and blend in a natural piece of rock over a cement plug.

I'm with Rick on this one.

I wish sps frags were always sold on golf tees. Chop the stick part off and glue it down. LPS though...this would be nice. I've been cutting mine off and mounting onto my own rubble.

Actually I see another use for this, why not LR Rubble. As Kevin knows, I am always on the lookout for rubble for my Refuge. this stuff would be great and offer great surface area.

Now saying that, I removed my DSB a couple months ago, so can probably use some more rubble. How much? I would probably want a salt pail full if the price is right! Maybe more.

Perfect zoa frag , I'll be swinging by for sure.

ElGuappo 02-28-2011 07:10 AM

agreed i usually preffer sps frags unmounted so i can glue them right to the structure....

and also agreed is the fact that now the 15 zoa colonies i have growing on the sand may now have a home,...

Great idea for softies.. good for Nems aswell if your selling them...
