How much are others dosing
 

Just wondering how much other people are dosing in their sps setups. I'm dosing 30ml Ca & 30 Alk using C-balance on this setup with 55 gal nwv. Thats after weekly water changes, the tank is only 9 months old, sometimes I wonder if it's to much, but the are no signs of precipitation. I am dosing 90ml into my 300 (light sps load) levels are keeping steady and everything looks happy.

40mL Alk and 38mL Ca into my 110. Based on the size of my corals and looking at yours...I'd expect you to be dosing more than me actually.

My levels are steady at 420 and 8.

before the move/crash I was going through 1 gallon of each (Ca and DKH (Randy's recipe)) in three days:surprise:.....I havnt tested, never mind dosed in monthes:redface:

ok maybe I *will* be changing to a reactor someday OUCH!

It wasnt too expensive Brett:wink: bulk for all three(Ca, Mg and DKH).....and my tank was a little full of coral........ and had 13 clams in it:wink:

i easily dose about 300ml of each per day if not more. I only have a 50g sps reef but they grow like wild fire.

wow...I am using brightwell A & B...they said maximum 5ml per 10G daily...I have a 90G, so max. 45ml...how can you add 300ml?

63mls of A/B for my all SPS 40g system daily

175 mls of Ca and Alk (Randys) daily (120 G mixed reef)
