Which brand of eco rock?

I'm trying to figure out which brand of dry rock to use on my new tank build. It's going to be the majority of the rock in my tank, which will cycle for a couple of months before I put any fish or corals in it.

this is the brand that has caught my eye: http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/store/...-eco-rock.html

Has anyone here used it before? I like it because it's not man-made, and actually comes from an extinct, fossilized reef, but I've never seen any in person so I don't know how porous it is. I want something as close to real live rock in terms of physical properties as I can get.

I just got an order awhile ago from eco-reefer.com. I was very impressed with the order. Here's a pic of the 50 lb's, the one in the sump was in the order aswell.

+1 on eco-reefer (www.eco-reefer.com). I got a 50 lb order a few weeks back (pics are still on my camera) but there was a nice mix of sizes and the shipment was really well packed.

This stuff is also ancient reef that is now far from any water. Pest and algae-free !

Eco-Reefer is a Canadian company so shipping is reasonable and there are no border issues.

Yeah, shipping was included inthe cost for my order, i think they still have the deal, $165 for 50lbs shipped to your door. (the delivery person was ****ed off carrying 50lbs to my door, but made me laugh a bit)

Yep, that's the deal I took too. I was just on their site and they're still offering it.....

I'm going to need to order about 200 pounds, maybe a little more. Compared to live rock from Tonga or Fiji, how dense would you say the eco-reefer rock is? Comparable from a weight/density/porousness point of view?

And what about shapes? those pics look like all really large, roundish pieces. Do they have anything more shelf like?

+1 on ecoreefer. Torsten will try and accommodate pieces youre looking for.
