Looking for Nice Stand Pictures and Ideas
I am looking at building a new stand and I am looking for some ideas.
I thought there was a thread full os stand pictures but I can not find it. So lets see some pictures. Who has the nicest stand? |
You can check out mine very simple and doesn't cost much, I'd link it but my phone won't do it but it's on my last page of my tank build:) very clean looking:)

My stand skeleton is not pretty but you can park a truck on it. Built my own door panels out of Birch and Oak trim. Very simple but looks good in my living room and the wife approves.

Grizz, how did you attach the wood to the steel?
what kind of hinges are you using to support those massive doors? P.S. Looks really good |
I welded the hinges to the stand and then screwed it to the doors. 2 hinges per door they are a 1 1/2" gate style hinge and the door are fairly light. Here is a picture of the right side door. I have doors on the ends as well.
