First attempt at macro shots (graphic intense)
So I bought a second hand set of extension tubes and a 50mm f1.8 V1 lens and this is what I got!

Nice!

I'd say it looks like a good investment!
Don't really notice much about extension tubes other than what they look like. I notice you said "tubes" plural, do you daisy chain them or is that each one is a specific match to a particular lens? Now I want to go buy an extension tube for my D70.. Thanks a lot!!! :p |
HOLY Crap man that looks great love the Ric's
|
Fantastic!

Thanks guys! I have Tamron AF teleconverter 2x and a Canon EF25 Extension tube. I haven't tried them both together. The extension tube is dramatic. I could only get pics of things 4-5 inches or nearer to the front of the glass. The Teleconverter was a bit more neutral. I would recommend that first.

Wow those are awesome!
You can daisy chain extension tubes as they come in various sizes. |
pics 5,6,7,8,9 are teleconverter and the rest are extension tube. Both pretty inexpensive. Especially used.

Rics especially look bangin'. That sure is cheaper than the 105mm and looks sweet!
|
Nice pics! I would lock your doors, as you may find that your camera and some of those corals somehow disappear.
