PSI meter for RO/DI system

Hello all,

Wondering if anyone has a diy psi meter, and would help me out on what I would need to hook it up to my ro/di system. Note I really just need to know what kind of psi meter I need to pick up and where to get them at, the hose hook-up part can't be that difficult, though any tips are always welcome.

Thanks,

Colin

would this works http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/store/...-100-psi.html?

Why you have to make one when it is only 20 dollars

I got mine from Home Depot. It just attaches to 1/4" tubing and the tubing is attached inline to the RO/DI by a standard John Guest T fitting. But not all Home Depots seem to carry it. If not BRS linked above I think BWI also has something (another Canreef sponsor).

Well with shipping to here from there the total is close to $37, I know that's not a lot, just figured I might ge able to do it cheaper on my own, plus I'd like to do some diy stuff, I haven't done much of it yet.

Basically you're wanting to make a Bourdon tube pressure guage. I really recommend just buying one. One of the things I had to do early on in my engineering career was actually build aa bourdon guage. Let me tell you: not easy. It's like being a jeweler.

Look around, you can get them pretty cheap. I pick my up for work for about $15 each. Granted that's from a local supplier that deals only with research instutions, by the actually mark it up more because they know we'll pay for it. If you want a DIY project, I'd say go try making a digital pressure guage. Way easier and much more fun to build.

Thanks Steve. I'm no expert by a long shot, so I might cave in and let the professionals do the work for me and buy one. Lol thanks again.
