Advice on Shipping

If I wanted to send a zoa... or possibly things like CUC by courier.... what is the best way to do it?

Eg) Packaging, Heat Packs, specific courier?

I am considering "mailing" some stuff to Regina for my brother-in-law as prices there are ridiculous. $5 for a blue leg hermit in Regina!!!!???

Anyways... any tips would be appreciated.

i think a good write up of that stuff is in Myka's signature.

Wow. Great thread. Thanks for the head up!

Only thing is, based on the information about couriers, I am not sure what to do.

States most won't ship live goods... or if they do, not reliable.

Who is the best for reliability?

Purolator Mail in my opinion. I used to ship from Vancouver to Saskatoon and they were always right around 24 hours. I received about a dozen orders that way, and they were reliable. Small box was about $35 (just a couple small bags).

You could get The Reef Shoppe or Bayside Corals to ship via Greyhound to Regina as well. Short distances Greyhound is pretty good, and both places have decent livestock pricing.

(and thanks for the comments) :)
