Not quite the same but seriously rare ....
I saw a couple rare Wrasse at Red Coral Calgary on New Year's eve day that had me drooling silly.
Not exactly the same but stunning... it was either a Lineatus (Cirrhilabrus lineatus) or Rhomboid (Cirrhilabrus rhomboidalis) wrasse. It was a male without doubt. They also had a killer pair of Aussie Flame wrasse! They're Cirrhilabrus jordani and beyond-words stunning.... Then there was this black Tang with orange markings... and all my tanks are too small and big one not ready yet...arrrrgh! :laluot_20: Bunny |
Have never seen one before, nice looking wrasse but it's lacking a bit of color in the body. Have you ever tried a Labouti? Great looking fish with lots of personality, they go for a little cheaper than that guy also.

I have had a few over the years. They are usually about 4" - 5" long and not that shy. Will eat readily, especially Pacifica plankton. Like any Fairy wrasse they like to jump.
