Anenomes

Ever since the disaster, my anenomes have slowly gone into hiding. They are now directly beneath a couple pieces of live rock. The tentacles are expanded and inflated and they do not look sick at all.

Does anyone know why they are not coming out into the light?

Have I mentioned that I was real sorry to hear about your disaster?

It seems like BTAs are quick to do this sort of thing following a traumatic episode. The baby/split I got from Evan after his heating disaster acts like you're describing, and it's been quite a while since I got it. It is slowing regaining some colour and growing a bit, but it is very hesitant to come out from under its overhang.

I would give them time, and keep watching them closely. Are they eating?

Right now it is essentially impossible to get to them without ripping apart rockwork and disturbing the rest of my corals. So no they have not fed since the move.

Is there any way you can get creative with some tubing and/or a syringe to squirt some thawed mysis over them?

I guess my baster might work. I will have to get creative with my joints to get it in there properly though!
