PC help???
i need help on troubleshooting my problem with PC lighting 4 bulbs (65w each). Most of the time the GFCI will trip after this thing turns on in the morning. I have it hook up in a Aqua controller and i am using the Heavy duty 4 outlet specifically for high current or for lighting use..
Your immediate response will be much appreciated:biggrin: thanks, teddy |
Check for salt buildup on the connecters. I used to have T5's pretty close to my water and had lots of buildup that would eventually cause the bulb to trip the GFCI. I cleaned mine with fresh water, i'm sure there's more electrically safe ways to do it.
If not that i had the same issue with my fan. it was a 120V fan that came on at the same time as the lights, and really threw me for a loop when i cleaned my T5's and still had problems. Same thing with water/salt buildup, this one was actually rusted so i didn't bother cleaning it, for $4 at walmart it isn't worth the time :P. |
