water change question
 

I made a mistake with my water today. I mixed up the salt and added too much reef builder(alk) which caused precipitation. Is this water useless?

I don't think it's useless. Now that the precipitation has formed, the water should be fine. Just leave the precip behind and try to balance the mix next time.

I'll let everything settle and test the water. I wonder if it's just Ca that precipitates.

Bignose I wouldnt worry about it I did it n my 150 and had no issues with it.. have a drink and forget about it .....:wink:
