Will they work for what? They will let the fish see things, and that prevents them from bumping their heads. They will not grow most (any?) SPS corals.

K, certainly not for main lighting. Unless you had a lot of them, in which case you might spend more on balasts. And the color will suck. If you can't get MH, certainly get VHO or PCs. My choice would be VHO, but everyone's opinion is different.

Just make sure you fireproof your canopy if going VHO. :lol:

Just looking for cheep bulbs tell we get our MH together still waiting for a little $ hopefuly after X-mas :sad:
