Beckett skimmer chattering
 

the beckett on my skimmer is chattering and it is quite annoying. does this happen to anybody else? if so, do you live with the noise or can you stop it.

when did you clean it last? I had one that chattered but it stopped when I cleaned it.. seams there was a tiny snail wedging somthing off center.

I have been cleaning it daily just to make sure that it isn't something stuck in there.

is it home made or bought?

It Happens when the two small pivot points that hold the inner ball assembly wears down a bit and loosens up.

Take the beckett apart and wrap these ends in teflon and put her back together...itll work fine again.
